Cheryl Weber
Salon Manager
Keeping the salon running—one random problem at a time.
She doesn’t do hair or nails—but without her, none of this works.
She’s the first face you see when you walk in, the voice on the phone, the person keeping everyone on schedule, and the one everyone hollers for when something breaks, disappears, or suddenly “just stops working.” From bookkeeping and inventory to fixing printers, Wi-Fi, salon chairs, websites, and random mystery parts no one knows where they came from—she keeps the salon running.
And somehow she does it all with an iced coffee in one hand and her phone in the other.
The Glue Holding It All Together
Every salon has that one person everyone depends on.
Here, it’s me.
I handle a little bit of everything: reception, scheduling, bookkeeping, inventory, tech support, website design, ordering reminders, problem-solving, and making sure things stay on track behind the scenes.
Basically, if something isn’t working, gets lost, falls off, disconnects, won’t load, won’t print, or makes a weird noise… it somehow ends up becoming my problem.
And honestly? I kind of love it.
Part Receptionist, Part Tech Support, Part Detective
No two days are ever the same.
One minute I’m greeting clients, answering phones, and checking schedules. The next, I’m fixing the Wi-Fi, crawling under a salon chair with a screwdriver, figuring out where a tiny mystery piece fell out of, or making a printer magically work again because apparently “touching it” is my superpower.
There is an ongoing joke in the salon that if something electronic won’t work, all I have to do is walk near it.
And honestly… they’re not wrong.
I’m Probably Holding an Iced Coffee
You can usually find me with:
-
My phone
-
An iced coffee or water
-
A running mental list of 47 things that need to get done
And if someone yells my name from across the salon? I’ll probably appear out of nowhere in about five seconds.
Sweet, Funny, and Just Enough Sass
I love getting to know the clients here.
Some need someone to calm their nerves. Some need someone to laugh with. Some appreciate a little sarcasm. Some want to tell me about their family, their dog, their vacation, or the drama at work.
And I’m here for all of it.
One of the things I hear the most is that people love my laugh—which is good, because there’s a lot of laughing around here.
Family Is the Whole Point
This salon has always felt like family to me.
Not the perfect, matching-outfits kind of family—the real kind. The shy people, the loud people, the funny people, the “crazy uncle” energy, the regulars we see every few weeks, and the clients who come in twice a year but still feel like they belong here.
I want everyone who walks in to feel welcome, comfortable, and taken care of.
That’s the most important part to me.
A Little More About Me
Outside of the salon, I also help people with tech and admin support—from fixing printer problems and setting up TVs, phones, Echos, Fire Sticks, and video doorbells to helping small businesses with bookkeeping and admin tasks.
Basically, I use all the random information in my brain that seemed useless at the time… and somehow it all comes together here.
The Bottom Line
I may not do the hair or nails—but I make sure the people who do have everything they need.
And if something stops working?
Just hand it to me.
